| Core i7 13700HX | Nvidia RTX 4090 | 32GB RAM | 1TB SSD | 2560 x 1440| 240Hz | 17.3-inch | AU$4,843 at HP

AU$4,800 is a lot to pay for a laptop, but spec wise, this one's tough to beat. An RTX 4090, i7 13700HK and 32GB of RAM are specs that will stand up to all but the most powerful and expensive desktops. This is the kind of machine you'll be proud to show off.

| i9-13980HX | Nvidia RTX 4090 | 32GB RAM | 4TB SSD | 2560 x 1600 @ 240Hz | 17-inch | AU$7,799

MSI Raider GE78HX  | i9-13980HX | Nvidia RTX 4090 | 32GB RAM | 4TB SSD | 2560 x 1600 @ 240Hz | 17-inch | AU$7,799 AU$5,599 at Mwave (save AU$2,200)
The MSI is almost as good as it gets. You'll have to go up to a really crazy price territory if you want a god-tier laptop with absolutely everything. The MSI Raider GE78HX goes pretty close though, with an Intel i9-13980HX, RTX 4090 graphics and 4TB SSD. This one is more of a desktop replacement than a truly portable gaming machine. AU$5,500 is a lot to pay, but it's still a good price for a machine with a spec like this.

He developed a love of extreme overclocking that destroyed his savings despite the cheaper hardware on offer via his job at a PC store. To afford more LN2 he began moonlighting as a reviewer for VR-Zone before jumping the fence to work for MSI Australia. Since then, he's gone back to journalism, enthusiastically reviewing the latest and greatest components for PC & Tech Authority, PC Powerplay and currently Australian Personal Computer magazine and PC Gamer.
